Kirsten Mare, a talented soprano born on January 15, 2007, in Curaçao, discovered her love for music at a tender age and aspires to become a profound artist. At just 9 years old, she clinched victory at the Strea Chiki talent competition, showcasing her raw talent without any formal vocal training.
Her progressing career has led her to sharing the stage with esteemed musicians like Johnny Kleinmoedig, Ilja Huang, Randal Corsen, and many others from Curaçao. Notable performances include renditions of the national anthem at significant governmental conferences and singing for prestigious events and places such as Sandals Royal Curaçao. Kirsten's experiences encompass remarkable milestones such as a master class with baritone Marco Bakker in 2018 and appearances in grand concerts like Opera Per Tutti alongside renowned Dutch opera singers. In 2021, Kirsten connected with Ced Ride, a revered Caribbean singer and composer, discussing her aspirations. Following Ced Ride's passing, she paid tribute by performing his song at his funeral, garnering substantial attention and swiftly gaining popularity. This led to her involvement in a tribute concert for Ced Ride in 2022, further amplifying her recognition with her rendition of "Ta Yu'i Kòrsou Mi Ta."
Her own concert, "Way To My Dream," held in October 2022, was a successful fundraising endeavor organized by the Child First Foundation.
